Youth For Peace | 100 Ideas for Peace After the End of WWI | Youth Leader : Evrensel Ürüm | Franco-German Youth Office
Having the 100th year anniversary of the end of World War One, Evrensel Ürüm from W-AFPIAAP worked in the project of FGYO (Franco-German Youth Office) OFAJ DFWJ, as one of the Youth Leaders of a Tridem of Youth Leaders.
The international event gathered more than 500 youth from Europe and neighbouring countries in Berlin Germany, in three day activity (15-18 november 2018) youth created their Ideas For Peace under the concept Youth For Peace concerning the end of WWI, sharing in social media with #youthforpeace2018, 3 ideas selected among 20 groups and discussed with German President Mr. Steinmeir and French President Mr. Macron.
Thanks to the General Secretary Dear Béatrice Angrand and all organisation team including Coordinators, Helpers, Youth Leaders and especially Participants for being in this valuable event.
Evrensel Ürüm as a Youth Leader was active in workshops like `packing my suitcase` where youth draw a suitcase and select emotionally important objects as fleeing a war zone, another one was `image-decoding` where youth decoded some photos from WWI of Ottoman part, paintings about WWI from Picasso and local Turkish Painters and another was the continous Idea-Tree where youth wrote their wished and ideas for Peace.
