World Peace Artists Travelling&Practicing Art Event;
" WORLD NEEDS PEACE! "
Bolayır - Saros - Gallipoli - Çanakkale -Troy - Bozcaada
25th August - 2nd September 2024
Saros Gulf, at the northeastern end of the Aegean Sea, is one of the 5 largest self-cleaning gulfs in the world with the highest number of species and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The sea and the gulf, which is famous for its fascinating sunsets, attract the attention of world travelers with its natural and untouched structure.
The project will be practicing in the Art Garden of Cardia (Saros/Bolayır/Gallipoli) The space is 800 m far away from the wonderful beach Baklaburnu / Saros Gulf
Its proximity to sights such as the ancient cities of Troy and Assos, which were among the favorite settlements of ancient times, Bozcaada and Gökçeada islands, several museums, the Çanakkale Martyrs' Cemetery, which commemorates the sadness of war and the necessity of peace, and the Gallipoli Peninsula, which borders two seas, makes this traveling art project interesting.
It is always necessary and beautiful to organize an event for art and peace in this geography where the world's eastern and western axes intersect.
This time, our world artists initiative, which is committed to contributing to World Peace through art, will visualize.
"WORLD NEEDS PEACE"
As peace artists, we will be able to meet at Bolayır Cardia Art Garden and practice photography, video, painting, digital art, music, and performance arts in our mobile event.
We will produce together while visiting these historical places with the language of peace and art. The artwork will be exhibited after the event.
PROGRAM :
25th August: Transportation. Settlements welcome party at Kardia Art Garden. Night Stay at Camping.
26th August: Meeting at Bolayır Kardia Art Garden, short tour around the area.
Art working at Bolayır Kardia Art garden & Baklaburnu Beach. Night stay at Camping.
Sea with sunset in the evening.
27th August: Gallipoli Peninsula tour. Villages (we will draw, and paint small sizes artworks)
Martyrdom, Monument, Kilitbahir, Piri Reis Museum. War Museum.
Dinner at Gallipoli Harbour and overnight stay in Gallipoli.
28-29th August: Çanakkale-Troy Ancient City- Troy Museum- Bozcaada-Çanakkale
two days & overnight stays.
30th August- Art working at Kardia Art Garden overnight stay at camping.
31st August: Kardia Art Garden Art working & overnight stay at the camping
1st September:
World Peace Day Celebration
Exhibition of W-AFP art collection and new works at Kardia Art Garden, exhibition opening, live body and painting performances, local folkloric and Roman dance shows accompanied by drums and pipes. Overnight stay at Camping
2nd September:
Free time. End of the exhibition & event. Bye-bye & farewell ceremony.
Exceptions :
1. All works produced will belong to their artists.
Artists will bring their own materials. Will be able to assist with organization, equipment, etc.
2. Accommodation, transportation, tour, and meal expenses will be borne by the participants.
3. Since costs may vary depending on the number of participants and situations during the process, the participation process and payments will be completed by July 1, 2024.
The project is open to join all World artists and viewers.
